Dave Kerrigan - Founder, Managing Director

Dave Kerrigan is the Founder and Managing Director of Sante Nasc, LLC and the creator of BenefitPitch®.   

​

His expertise spans many areas of the health care vertical including payer, provider, public and private exchanges, employee benefits, and data analytics. He is a self described health care "geek" who has worked in the health care space for the past 20 years. He is passionate about innovation and working with organizations who are impacting health care.

Dave is active in the healthcare startup space and acts as an adviser to a number of entrepreneurs, investors, and startups. He is a member of TiE-Boston and works on the TiE Boston ScaleUp team. TiE ScaleUp works closely with select companies to mentor them and to refine their business model, obtain access to capital and tap into a peer network for ongoing support. Dave is also involved with numerous innovation hubs and accelerator programs including MassChallenge Health Tech, Northeastern University's innovation and entrepreneurship program, BrokerTech Ventures, Plug and Play Tech Center, and is a member of the health and wellness advisory council at Social Enterprise Greenhouse in Rhode Island.

 

Prior to starting Sante Nasc, Dave worked in the RightOpt Health Exchange Practice at Conduent HR Services (formerly Buck Consultants, LLC, a Xerox Company), where he served on the leadership team working with strategic vendor partners to assure a best-in-class exchange offering for its clients.

Previously, Dave worked as the Director of Business Development for the Massachusetts Health Connector. As a member of the senior leadership team, Dave was responsible for business development, marketing, broker engagement, strategic partnerships, and Small business Health Options Program (SHOP) strategy.  He came to the Health Connector from Willis Towers Watson, one of the leading health benefits brokerage firms in the world.

Dave earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stonehill College majoring in Health Care Administration. He declared his major first semester freshman year and never looked back.  He then went on to earn his Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University. He is also a past Board Member and current Ambassador for Social Capital, Inc., a not-for-profit organization with a mission to strengthen communities by connecting diverse individuals and organizations through civic engagement initiatives.

Dave grew up in Woburn, Massachusetts and currently lives there with his wife and two daughters.

As for the company name, Sante is French for "health" and Nasc is Gaelic for "link".
